How do I connect my Google Ads account?
Open Sidebar → Connections, click "Connect" on the Google card, approve access with your Google sign-in, then click "Link" next to each ad account you want — campaigns and spend start syncing from there.
Before you start
- The Owner or Admin role in the workspace — as the page says, "Only workspace admins can manage connections."
- A Google sign-in with access to the Google Ads accounts you want to manage. You'll approve access on Google's own page; Decisa never sees your password.
Steps
Open Connections
Go to Sidebar → Connections. The Google card explains what connecting does: "Sync campaigns and spend, send conversions back to Google Ads."
Click Connect
Click "Connect" on the Google card (or "Add account" if a Google account is already connected). A dialog offers two routes: "Continue in this browser" to authorize right away, or "Copy link for another browser" to send a single-use link to the browser that owns the account — useful for a client's machine.
Approve access on Google
Google asks you to sign in and approve. Once you accept, you're brought back to Decisa and see the confirmation "Ad account connected." The new connection appears under Google, healthy and syncing — shown with a green check, no badge. A status badge (for example "Atenção" or "Expirada") only appears if a connection later needs your attention.
Link your ad accounts
Click "Manage" on the connection. Under "Available Accounts" you'll see every Google Ads account that sign-in can reach — click "Link" next to each one you want in Decisa. Linked ones show "Already linked".
What happens next
- Each linked account moves to "Linked Ad Accounts" with its ID, currency, and timezone, and Decisa starts syncing its campaigns and spend.
- Click "View Campaigns" on a linked account to see what came in.
- Any change you make from Decisa — pausing a campaign, adjusting a budget — goes through review and apply, so nothing touches Google Ads without your confirmation.
Gotchas
Connecting Google is not enough by itself — nothing syncs until you link at least one ad account. If your campaign pages look empty after connecting, open Sidebar → Connections, click "Manage" on the Google connection, and link the accounts under "Available Accounts".
- The "Copy link for another browser" link expires in 30 minutes and works only once. If your client takes longer to open it, generate a fresh one.
- "Available Accounts" only lists what the connected Google sign-in can access. Missing an account? Reconnect with a Google login that has access to it, or get access granted in Google Ads first.
- To disconnect, open the ⋯ (more actions) menu on the connection and choose "Disconnect account". It warns: "Are you sure you want to disconnect this account? All linked ad accounts will be disabled." — syncing stops for all of them at once, so disconnect only when you mean it. (The same ⋯ menu holds "Test connection".)
