How do I read the ROAS report?

Open Attribution in the sidebar: the top cards show Clicks, Conversions, Revenue, Spend, and ROAS for your date range, and the Attributions tab breaks the same revenue down per campaign — counted by last click, so each order is credited to the final tracked click before the purchase.

Before you start

  • A workspace with the Attribution module active, with clicks being tracked (pixel installed or UTM links in use) and orders arriving from your store or checkout.
  • ROAS needs both sides of the math: Revenue comes from your tracked orders, Spend comes from a connected ad platform or manual ad-spend entries. No spend recorded means no ROAS.

Steps

  1. Open the Attribution overview

Use Sidebar → Attribution → Overview. The page is titled Attribution ("Real revenue tied back to the click that earned it.") and the date picker at the top right controls every number on the page.

  2. Read the five totals

Clicks is tracked visits, Conversions is orders Decisa tied back to one of those clicks, Revenue is the money from those orders, Spend is your ad cost, and ROAS is revenue divided by spend — 2.00× means every $1 spent returned $2.

  3. Break revenue down per campaign

Open the Attributions tab and set the Group by selector to By campaign (your UTM campaign names) or By platform campaign (campaigns synced from a connected ad account). Each row shows its own clicks, conversions, revenue, spend, and ROAS. Click any column header to sort.

  4. Know which model you are reading

The table defaults to Model: Last click — "100% credit to the final touch". One order = one conversion, credited entirely to the last tracked click before purchase. You can switch models in the Attribution model picker to see how credit shifts.

  5. Compare against your ad platforms

Open Sidebar → Attribution → ROAS truth check ("Why your ROAS differs from the platform"). It shows Decisa ROAS next to Platform-reported ROAS, the Revenue gap between them, and a Why? explanation per campaign.

What happens next

  • Every total and table row recalculates when you change the date range, grouping, or model — nothing is cached or delayed.
  • Rows labeled (not set) are clicks that arrived without UTM tags — untagged traffic you can fix at the link level.
  • New orders appear in the report as soon as they are matched to a click, so today's numbers grow during the day.

Gotchas

Decisa will almost never match Google or Meta exactly — and that is by design. Platforms credit themselves for view-through and modeled conversions; Decisa only counts orders tied to a real tracked click. A gap is normal: use ROAS truth check to see the size of the gap and the Why? signals per campaign before trusting either number blindly.

Seeing Not enough data? The report says "We need at least 50 clicks and 1 conversion to compute ROAS." — widen the date range or wait for more traffic before reading anything into the numbers.

If a campaign shows revenue but no spend, its ROAS reads as . Connect the ad platform or add manual spend entries so the division has a denominator.
