How do plans, usage, and metering work?
Decisa bills per module: each plan unlocks a capability with an included monthly quota (tracked orders for Attribution, ad spend under management for Campaigns), and the Plan & usage page shows exactly how much of it you've used this cycle.
Before you start
- A workspace where you're a member with access to billing.
- Nothing else — the page works even before you subscribe. With no subscription it shows "No active subscription." and a "See plans →" link.
Steps
Open Plan & Usage
Use Sidebar → Billing → Plan & Usage. The page is titled "Plan & usage".
Review your current plan
The "Current plan" card shows your subscription status badge, the trial end or renewal date, and an "Included" list — one row per module you're paying for, with its capability and tier.
Read the usage meters
The "Usage this cycle" card shows one meter per metered metric. Each bar displays used vs. included (for example tracked orders for Attribution). Green means under 75%, amber means 75–99%, and a red striped band means you've passed your included quota — with an estimated overage amount underneath.
Compare plans when you want more
Click "Change plan" (top right) to open the "Choose a plan" page. Each plan card lists its monthly price, included quotas, and metered rates — what you pay per extra unit after the included amount.
Switch plans
Click "Switch to this plan" on the plan you want. You're taken to a secure checkout; once it completes, you return to "Plan & usage". Your current plan is marked "Active" and its button reads "Current plan".
What happens next
- Your new plan's modules appear in the "Included" list on "Current plan".
- Usage meters track the new quotas immediately; counts reset at the start of each billing period.
- The "Invoices" card currently shows "No invoices yet" — invoice history inside the app isn't available yet. For now, invoices are delivered by your payment provider (by email).
Gotchas
Overages don't appear on the current invoice. Billing is monthly and metered overages bill on the next cycle — so a red meter today means an extra charge on your next invoice, not this one. The estimated amount under the meter is your early warning; act on it before the cycle closes.
An empty "Usage this cycle" card ("No metered activity yet this cycle.") early in the month usually just means counts were reset for the new period — not that tracking broke. If meters stay at zero while orders are coming in, check your pixel or webhook setup.
